Waking up at 4 AM is definitely not for the faint of heart.
It's hard to get up, it's dark outside, and you're tired. It's easy to just roll over and go back to sleep. But that's the thing: you can't just roll over and go back to sleep! If you want to accomplish your goals, if you want to be able to pay your bills on time and get out of debt, if you want to enjoy life with your friends and family—you've got to wake up!
So here are some tips for getting out of bed in the morning:
1) Set an alarm clock that's loud enough to wake you up (but not so loud that it scares the dog).
2) If the alarm clock isn't loud enough, set another one across the room so it takes a few seconds for your brain to process what's happening.
3) Set another alarm clock across the room on top of a dresser so it falls off every time it goes off (but not too heavy or expensive).
4) Set yet another alarm clock across the room on top of an empty box that has holes cut out of its sides; this will make an annoying, reverberating noise as well as the usual alarm ring you have picked out.
5) If all of these fail, set the alarm clock on the other side of the room from where you are sleeping; this will force you out of bed in order to turn it off.
